The Data Protection Act 2018 gives rights to individuals in respect of personal  data held about them by others and as directed by the Act, you should know the  following:

. The artist considers information about themselves as personal data.

. The artist is only willing to disclose this information through face-to-face discussion.  

. The artist considers that the information that they would provide as falling under the category of “Diversity information”.

. The artist is aware that Diversity information is defined by the DPA as “sensitive”, and that it is not mandatory to supply “sensitive” information.
